Most of the Le Bonnet collection is designed in Amsterdam and made from natural fibres. The Classic Beanie, Classic Scarf, Bandana, and several related core styles use 75% lambswool and 25% Caregora-certified fibre, spun in England and finished in Scotland.
Materials and origins vary by style. Other products include 100% lambswool scarves, merino and cashmere-blend beanies, 100% Shetland-wool sweaters, merino accessories, cotton caps made in Portugal, and a cotton-canvas tote. The product page and sewn-in care label are the final source for each item.

Le Bonnet does not use one fibre across the whole collection. Instead, each product family keeps a material choice that fits its purpose.
The Classic Beanie, Classic Scarf, Bandana, and several related core styles use a 75% lambswool and 25% Caregora-certified fibre blend. Other beanies and scarves use different compositions, so check the individual product page.
A smaller part of the collection shifts into softer blends: the Cashmere Beanie uses merino and Italian cashmere, while Red Line uses recycled cashmere with ultrafine merino. They sit apart from the core lambswool line but still follow the same Scottish making story.
Crewnecks and turtlenecks use 100% Shetland wool. Current product copy describes them as lightly brushed, seam-free knits made in Scotland.
Gloves use 100% merino wool, and the accessories line also includes merino-based socks. These pieces keep the same natural-fibre position while shifting the handle and weight.
Caps are the exception to the wool story. They are made from cotton and produced in Portugal rather than Scotland.
The brand's core wool line is tied to one longstanding production path: wool spun in England, then knitted and finished in Scotland.
For the core lambswool line, the wool is spun in England at a mill the brand describes as having roughly 250 years of history.
The finished knitwear is made in a Scottish mill with roughly 180 years of history. That is the main manufacturing anchor behind Le Bonnet's beanies, scarves, and bandanas.

Shetland-wool sweaters are currently marked for cold hand washing, gentle reshaping, flat drying, and no tumble drying. Merino gloves and socks are marked for cold hand washing and flat drying. The cotton-canvas tote should be spot-cleaned when needed.
